20-year-old Austrian singer-songwriter Fanny Tautscher aka fanschko is not what you would call a “born musician”. In fact, it wasn’t until the pandemic hit, that she grabbed a guitar and taught herself how to play the instrument and how to write her own songs.
Her debut single ‘Breath’ earned her placements on several Spotify editorial playlists, resulting in more than 300k streams and up to 16k monthly followers.
‘Motion Blur’, her latest release, is a dark pop girl gang anthem, heavily inspired by artists like Lorde, The1975 and Taylor Swift. It explores what it’s like to be a young female adult in 2024.
